Bare Galvalume coils are steel coils that have been coated with a combination of aluminium and zinc to provide superior corrosion resistance and durability. The Galvalume coating is achieved through a continuous hot-dip process, where the steel coils are first cleaned and pre-treated before being coated with a molten bath of aluminium-zinc alloy. The Galvalume coating consists of approximately 55% aluminium, 43.5% zinc, and a small percentage of silicon.
